For installation of new brake discs and drums with integrated wheel bearings.
Without installation sleeves these will tilt on the spindle. When attempting to pull the drum or disc from the spindle the wheel bearings will fall apart irreparably. With this precision installation sleeves set the tilting is safely avoided.
Insert the appropriate sleeve into the integrated bearing. This way the two inner rings are pre-adjusted. Now slide the brake drum or disc with the sleeve over the threaded stub of the spindle (oil sparsely) onto the fitting until it stops. Works without a hammer or such.
