Usage:
The needle contacting unit can be used on paper and plastic insulated wires with a conductor diameter of 0.35 to 1.4 mm. Can be used with a multi-function test lamp or a multimeter.
To carry out measurements, the needle contacting unit is clamped onto the wire to be tested and connected to the respective testing or measuring device. The fine gold tip penetrates the insulation and makes contact with the conductor. No changes in the measured values can be detected.
IMPORTANT: After disconnecting the needle contacting device no measures are necessary to restore the wire insulation!
