Tool kit for replacing damaged thread M14x1.5 of the shock absorber fitting on the lower wishbone on the rear axle:
BMW X-models (X3, X4, X5, X6)

With the help of this tool set it is possible to drill out the remaining thread centrically from the wishbone, to attach an oversize thread in the correct position over the required length and then to insert a sufficiently long threaded bushing deep enough to fit. This allows the assembly to be carried out again with the original bolt. This tool set can be used with aluminium and steel wishbones.
